7 ways to self-sooth

 

  1. Put on your favorite sweat set (ours is our favorite
  2. Drink a warm cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa (out of your favorite mug)
  3. Take a hot shower or warm bubble bath (bonus points for using essential oils or lighting a candle)
  4. Do some light stretching (child’s pose or happy baby always feel nice)
  5. Listen to a calm music playlist or your favorite self-care podcast
  6. Bake yourself a yummy treat (cookies, brownies, pumpkin bread!)
  7. Practice breathing with deep breathing exercises (try breathing in for 4 seconds, holding your breath for 7 seconds, then exhaling slowly for 8 seconds)
